October 2026 — just in time for Halloween — horror is reborn in the spectacular Assembly Rooms Newcastle as part of the venue’s landmark 250th-anniversary celebrations.
From Craig Wilde, Writer and Executive Producer — the acclaimed creator behind the sell-out sensations Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus and Dickens by Candlelight – A Christmas Carol — comes a bold and unsettling new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Curious Case of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde.
Directed by multi-award-winning Jake Murray, this intensely intimate, in-the-round production draws you terrifyingly close to a world of desire, obsession, and the monstrous alter-ego clawing to break free.
